Which languages do you work with?
I provide English–Turkish and Turkish–English written translation and English–Turkish interpreting at notary appointments. My sworn oath is registered with the Fethiye 1st Notary Office.
What is the difference between a sworn and a notarised translation?
A sworn translation carries the stamp and signature of a translator who has taken an oath before a notary. In a notarised translation, the notary office where the translator's oath is registered additionally certifies the translator's signature. Check in advance which one the receiving institution requires.
Can I use your services from outside Fethiye?
Yes. You can send your documents by e-mail and receive an online price quote. Remote translation is available to clients across Türkiye.
How is the translation fee calculated?
Fees usually depend on the length of the text, the document type and the turnaround. If notarisation is required, notary fees and charges are stated separately. The quote is shared clearly before work begins.
What is an apostille and where is it issued?
An apostille is a certificate that authenticates public documents between countries party to the 1961 Hague Convention. In Türkiye it is issued by governorships or district governorships for administrative documents and by justice commissions for judicial documents.
How is the confidentiality of my documents protected?
Your documents are used only for the translation and certification work you request, are processed in line with Turkish data protection law (KVKK) and are not shared with third parties other than the notary office that certifies them.
